Senior Essential Safety Measures Auditor
THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Fire Safety Building Compliance Auditor to join a leading national building compliance and surveying firm. In this senior, client-facing role, you will undertake Essential Safety Measure audits, BCA compliance inspections, and certification across a variety of commercial, industrial, and multi-residential buildings. You will also contribute to client growth, business development, and mentoring within the team, while representing the firm at a senior level.

DUTIES
* Conduct National Construction Code (BCA) compliance audits and Essential Safety Measure inspections
* Perform annual building certification and compliance management
* Co‐ordinate and conduct Systems Interface Testing in accordance with AS1851
* Attend client and contractor meetings as required, including regional and interstate travel
* Identify and develop new business opportunities, securing ongoing contracts and projects
* Maintain and manage key client relationships to drive growth and referrals
* Provide leadership, mentoring, and training to other employees
* Assist Regional Managers, Account Managers, and Directors in delivering efficient and timely services
ABOUT YOU
* FPAS / APFS accreditation mandatory
* Minimum 3 years' experience in fire safety auditing or building compliance preferred
* Strong knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards (AS1851, AS2118, AS1670, AS168)
* Familiarity with building certification/permit processes and alternative building solutions
* Excellent client-facing and communication skills
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and lead a team
* Willingness to travel regionally and interstate as required
