Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to provide expert HR advice, support, and guidance on various matters. You will work closely with council leaders to ensure the effective management of complex workplace relations and people issues.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing contemporary business partnering practices to support employees and leaders
* Offering informed advice and technical expertise on People and Culture matters
* Resolving workplace issues and grievances, performance management, case management, Enterprise Agreement guidance, data analytics, and policy reviews
* Identifying opportunities for 'best practice' ways of working, system or process changes that contribute to the broader P&C Operations work plan and strategy
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees and leaders
* A strong background in HR, with experience in managing complex workplace relations and people issues
* Expertise in conducting workplace investigations and developing policies
* Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
