This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen environment as part of the team at Qantas Lounges Brisbane. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commis Chef who can craft culinary excellence and provide high-quality dishes for our guests.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner buffet service, front-of-house bakery experience and à la carte dining service. They will also maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, ensuring strict stock rotation and minimum wastage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes, including breakfast, lunch and dinner options
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
* Manage inventory and minimize waste
* Work effectively with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience working in a busy kitchen, exposure to à la carte dining experience and tertiary culinary qualifications. You will also need full working rights within Australia and a valid driver's license.
