About the Role:
This hands‐on role involves painting, repairing, and modifying containers to meet quality standards and support efficient yard operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Paint, repair, and modify containers to meet company standards and deadlines
* Use cost‐effective methods to achieve productivity targets
* Report damage or delays to your supervisor
* Work as part of a team and help train new staff
* Support repair and forklift operations when needed
* Maintain tools and keep the yard clean and organized
* Follow safety rules and complete required training
Skills and Experience:
* Paint Trade Qualification with at least 3 years' experience in metal trade painting
* Experience in container repair, maintenance, and modification
* Ability to work safely and follow WHS guidelines
* LF Forklift Licence, WHS, and First Aid certifications (desirable)
* Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‐solving skills
