Do work that matters
As an Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting Relationship Managers to deliver tailored banking solutions to commercial property and diversified clients. You'll be hands‐on with financial analysis, credit assessment, and portfolio management across both new and existing client relationships, contributing directly to high‐quality credit outcomes.
Working within a collaborative and highly experienced team, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of commercial property transactions and increasingly complex lending structures. This role offers meaningful depth in credit, alongside practical insight into how strong banking decisions support client growth.
You'll be responsible for analysing financial information and modelling outcomes for large and mid‐market clients, preparing clear and well‐reasoned credit submissions, and supporting deal execution from documentation through to funding. You'll also manage portfolio data quality, compliance, and reporting, complete annual reviews, and monitor credit performance in partnership with Risk Management.
Strong relationships sit at the centre of this role. You'll work closely with bankers, product specialists, and other stakeholders to structure transactions, clearly articulate credit risk, and deliver thoughtful, value‐adding insights that are reflected in positive client and stakeholder feedback.
About The Role
This role sits within a Commercial Banking team focused on property‐backed and diversified clients. You'll work alongside experienced Commercial Bankers and gain practical exposure to relationship management and credit decisioning in a supportive environment. The role can be based in Wollongong or Nowra, offering flexibility and connection to regional portfolios.
What We're Looking For
You'll bring experience from Commercial or Business Banking, with strong commercial acumen and capability across credit analysis, financial modelling, and portfolio management. Exposure to commercial property transactions or property‐focused clients is highly regarded, along with the ability to quickly understand complex structures and assess credit risk.
You're confident engaging with stakeholders, communicate clearly, and take pride in delivering high‐quality work. A tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or Commerce is preferred but not essential—and what matters most is your curiosity, judgment, and desire to keep learning.
This is a strong opportunity to build depth in credit, broaden your exposure, and grow your banking career within a high‐performing and supportive team.
