Contribute to the delivery of a critical maritime engineering project within a specialised and passionate team. Your New Role And Responsibilities
* Develop and manage support system requirements for maritime platforms, ensuring alignment with operational, safety, and sustainment needs.
* Contribute to the transition from requirements development to support system design, working closely with engineering and project teams.
* Support the delivery of a critical maritime engineering project, ensuring supportability considerations are embedded throughout the lifecycle.
* Assist in the development of safety‐critical operational procedures and sustainment strategies to support long‐term platform operation.
* Be based in Canberra or Newcastle.
What You'll Bring To Make An Impact
* Experience in systems engineering or support system engineering, ideally within maritime, defence, or complex engineering environments.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to work independently and deliver outcomes with limited supervision.
* Knowledge of reliability engineering, safety engineering, or infrastructure operations and sustainment (highly regarded).
* Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical requirements clearly to stakeholders.
This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a baseline security clearance, and to be willing to obtain and hold an NV‐1 or greater security clearance.
