The Mornington Inn located Mornington eastern shore is currently seeking multiple hospitality superstars.
Responsibilities
Provide gaming and bar knowledge with excellence, including a comprehensive understanding of TasKeno, Gaming Machine and TAB operations.
Demonstrate cash handling proficiency and maintain compliance and responsible gaming practices.
Deliver exceptional customer service with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
Engage with customers in a skilled and mature manner, with a can-do attitude and the ability to work unsupervised.
Support a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications
Current RC (Responsible Conduct of Gaming) Certificate.
Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certificate.
Immediate availability to start is preferred.
Extensive understanding of food and beverage products and services.
Excellent customer service skills and a professional presentation.
Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to rostered shifts (lunch, dinner, or weekends).
Experienced Floor and Wait Staff
Desirable at least two years of front-of-house experience in a similar busy, licensed restaurant.
Professional serving, clear plates/tables, and timely delivery of meals.
Valid RSA certificate.
Well-presented with a good work ethic; confident, self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
Flexible rostering around study or other commitments; long-term positions available.
Who we are
The Mornington Inn is a family-run hotel located on the eastern shore, averaging 150-180 covers for lunch and dinner with an additional 80-seat function room, a fully operational sports bar with happy hours, a fully licensed gaming room and accommodation. Both venues are open 7 days with our delicious "pub-style" meals from 11am daily until 8:30pm.
