At CK Hair and Beauty Pty Ltd, we are looking for a driven and talented beauty therapist to join our vibrant team. In addition to having experience with a variety of cosmetic procedures like facials, waxing, threading, tinting, massages, and skincare, the ideal applicant should genuinely love the beauty industry. As a Beauty Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering personalized beauty services that enhance our clients' well-being and confidence. You should be friendly, professional, and customer-focused, with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to maintaining a clean, relaxing, and welcoming environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform a range of skin and beauty treatments, including facials, general waxing, brow waxing, brow tinting, brow laminations, lash lifts, massage, pedicures, and other advanced dermal therapies.
* Discuss client needs and analyze skin characteristics to recommend customized skincare treatments
* Perform hair removal services including waxing, tinting, bleaching, and body sugaring (advantageous)
* Apply cosmetic make-up as needed for special occasions
* Evaluating beauty therapy processes and products
* Support retail sales by providing informed product recommendations
* Advising clients on products that meet their skincare needs.
* Maintaining a clean & tidy treatment room that enhances our client experiences
* Receiving bookings, arranging appointments and maintaining client records
* Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies.
* Ensure that every element of the guests' experience is prepared according to company protocols
* Build genuine client relationships in a high-end, professional setting
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
* AQF Certificate III or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
* At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a Beauty Therapist or similar.
* Passionate about advanced skin treatments & client education.
* Confidence in consulting & retailing skincare solutions.
* Consulting with clients to understand their needs and preferences
* Managing bookings, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client records
WORKING HOURS
Full-time position, 38 hours per week.
