The role of Finance Manager is to oversee the financial services function of the organisation and ensure its financial sustainability and performance. This involves leading the financial governance of the organisation, making significant contributions to resource planning and procurement strategies that align with its mission.
This requires an inspiring and innovative leader with strong technical skills and an eye for continuous improvement. The successful applicant will have a deep understanding of financial management principles and practices, as well as excellent presentation, written communication and interpersonal skills.
They will also be able to work in a team environment, demonstrating a commitment to collaboration and teamwork. A professional qualification in accounting or a related field is essential, as is membership of a recognised accounting body such as Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountants Australia (CPA).
The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the organisation's finances, including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. They will also be involved in developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the organisation's goals and objectives.
