Fire Response Specialist
We are seeking skilled individuals to join our emergency response team as Fire Response Specialists. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative agency responsible for ensuring public safety across Queensland.
The key objectives of the position include attending emergency calls, participating in regular drills and training sessions, obtaining required licenses, and complying with established policies and procedures.
* A valid manual C Class driver's licence is essential for this role.
* Australian Permanent Resident Status is also required.

Key requirements for this position include:
* Employer's consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable)
* Live or work within a reasonable distance of the designated auxiliary fire station
As a Fire Response Specialist, you can expect to:
* Attend 50% of emergency calls as a day worker with routine hours or 30% of calls as a shift worker with non-routine hours
* Participate in ongoing skills acquisition and maintenance programs, including first aid and emergency care
* Obtain an MRV license within 12 months of employment at your own expense
* Comply with QFES policies and procedures, including code of conduct, safety, and personal presentation standards
