Family Physician Opportunity
This mixed billing family practice is seeking a locum General Practitioner to fill a sole GP role. The successful candidate will be supported by a friendly team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide primary care services to patients in a clinical setting.
* Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with other healthcare professionals as needed.
* Conduct routine check-ups, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe medications as required.
* Maintain accurate patient records and update them as necessary.
Requirements:
* Primary Degree: Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
* Fellowship & CPD Certificate: Australian College of General Practitioners (FACGP)
* References: 2 x Professional References.
* Current AHPRA Registration: Yes.
* Immunisations/vaccinations: Up-to-date Vaccinations.
* Indemnity: Medical Indemnity Insurance.
* Medicare provider number: Yes.
* ID check: ID Check Required.
* CRC & WWCC: (if applicable).
Work Arrangements:
* Monday-Friday, half-day on Friday.
* Seeing 4 patients per hour using Medical Director/PracSoft.
* 9 nursing home patients offsite to be seen via telehealth.
What You'll Need:
* Australian College of General Practitioners (FACGP) Fellowship and current Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certificate.
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Medical indemnity insurance.
* Up-to-date vaccinations
* Medicare provider number and ID check requirement.
* (If applicable) Child Protection Screening (CRC) and Working With Children Check (WWCC).
