Job Description
Based in Geelong Victoria, Thornton Engineering is seeking to recruit experienced and qualified Welders / Metal Fabricators at their location in Corio VIC. The successful applicants will :
* Have a willingness to work
* Be punctual and responsible
* Strong attention to detail
This role will include but not limited to:
* Heavy wall pipe fabrication
* Plate fabrication
* Structural steel fabrication
* Preparation, cutting, welding, grinding, drilling
Skills & Attributes:
* Cert III in Engineering Fabrication or equivalent
* At least 3 years' experience as a welder or related trade
* Ability to read and interpret drawings to a high standard
* Safety first attitude
* Carbon and stainless-steel experience essential
* Proficiency in MIG, TIC and Arc welding
