Overheads Analyst RoleHolding a key role in our month-end, reporting, and forecasting activities, our Overheads Analyst position is part of our Finance Team.
Joining a team of 3, you will be involved in both commercial and transactional finance, with opportunities to develop your business partnering skills across the group.
With a focus on continuous improvement, you will have the opportunity to identify operational improvements and craft your role accordingly.This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract.ResponsibilitiesLead financial planning, performance reporting, and decision support for people costs and group overheads.Provide finance support to People, Facilities, and Group leadership teams.Manage efficient people OD and cost controls.Handle management accounting activities for all Opex.Collaborate with the People team to implement and operate payroll processes and controls.Oversee the overheads' forecast, analysis, and reporting.Work closely with the financial control team to ensure accurate overheads accounting.Partner with the business to ensure costs are accurately posted and forecasted at a vertical level.RequirementsExperience leading month-end/management accounting tasks for cost lines, including accruals, actualizing forecast files, cost centre coding checks, workday approvals, and commentary.Proven success in reviewing accruals and prepayments, highlighting risks and opportunities.Experience in a business partnering role, working with cost centre managers to provide forecasts and variances analysis.Ability to provide insights into potential opportunities and risks through business interaction.Experience leading month-end reporting, supporting production, validation, and reviews.We are an inclusive, anti-racist, and equal opportunity employer that values diversity.
