About Us
We are looking for a speech pathologist to deliver life-changing speech pathology services to NDIS participants, supporting adolescents and young adults aged 10-24 as they navigate life with a disability.
* Our ideal candidate will provide assessment, therapy planning and intervention in diverse settings including homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces and community centres.
* Utilising evidence-based measurement tools, the successful applicant will design and implement individualised therapy plans that maximise participants' goals and NDIS funding.
* Candidates must be able to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of allied health professionals.
* The chosen individual will build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).
* The role involves attending weekly team meetings at our Hub to share stories of impact and collaborate with colleagues.
* Leveraging the knowledge and support of a Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor, our new colleague will thrive in this dynamic environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A degree in Speech Pathology or a related field;
* Registration with the relevant governing body;
* Experience working with adolescents and young adults with disabilities;
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
* Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
