Your new role
As an APS4 Project Reporting Officer, you will provide critical support to project managers and senior stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating project reporting and documentation to meet governance requirements
* Assisting with procurement processes, contract administration, and financial tracking
* Monitoring project risks and maintaining accurate registers
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
* Preparing reports, briefings, and maintaining project databases for audit and compliance
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with experience in project coordination or administrative support roles. Key skills include:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Experience in procurement, financial tracking, or contract administration (highly regarded)
* Ability to work independently under limited direction and meet deadlines
You must be an Australian citizen to be considered for this role and candidates looking to apply must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance NV1, NV2 or TSPV)
Candidates must be based in Canberra and surrounding regions and be willing to work in the office full time
Candidates who are permanently engaged within the APS and are seeking a Section 26 transfer are also encouraged to apply
