Total Physiotherapy, a well-established and highly regarded private practice on Sydney's beautiful Northern Beaches, is looking for a Graduate Exercise Physiologist passionate about providing outstanding patient care. Early career Exercise Physiologists are also encouraged to apply.
Joining our current Exercise Physiologist, you will become part of a team of health providers consisting of Physiotherapists, including 5 Titled Physiotherapists, with expertise in musculoskeletal, sports, paediatrics, women's and men's pelvic health and hand physiotherapy, as well as Massage therapists.
Your comprehensive new graduate training program offers regular 1:1 mentoring with our Exercise Physiologist, including fortnightly in-services. On-going education will be tailored to your career stage and learning needs.
You will have the opportunity to run several of our classes such as Functional Fitness, Diabetic and Bone Fit classes, as well as offering 1:1 consultations and rehab programs. An opportunity also exists to facilitate our Pilates classes (in-house training provided).
About the Role:
* Part time role. 15 hours initially with the opportunity to increase.
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
* Deliver individual and group exercise sessions
* Offer patient education for specific rehabilitation
* 1:1 mentoring weekly to monthly, depending on experience, by experienced Exercise Physiologist with ongoing educational opportunities.
Requirements:
* Degree in Exercise Physiology - Bachelor or Masters
* AHPRA registration
* Strong clinical reasoning skills, commitment to ongoing learning and development
