Responsibilities
* Provide administrative leadership: oversee MSLC operations, aligning with the school's education strategy and university‐wide initiatives.
* Manage educational systems and processes: implement and evaluate programs, technologies, and systems to support large‐scale mathematics and statistics teaching.
* Foster inclusive learning: develop initiatives to improve student equity, accessibility, and learning outcomes for diverse cohorts.
* Lead professional development: supervise and mentor staff, manage tutor recruitment and training, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* This is a professional staff managerial position and does not include any direct classroom teaching.
Qualifications
* Strong leader with a passion for mathematics and statistics education, combining advanced administrative skills with a deep understanding of curriculum and teaching practices in higher education.
* Extensive experience in educational leadership and project management.
* Strong knowledge of mathematics and statistics curriculum at the university level.
* Demonstrated knowledge of educational technologies and systems.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
* Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
* Adaptable and forward‐thinking, ready to embrace emerging trends in higher education.
