The Opportunity: As an Accountant, you will play a key role in enabling our next phase of growth. You will work closely with our partners and team members to deliver high-quality services to our clients.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with team members to complete client work on time
* Prepare Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs
* Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG for various companies and trusts
* Deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations
* Liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients
* Provide exceptional service to clients
* Participate in training seminars, team meetings, and social events
* Offer support and training to junior team members
About You
We are looking for someone with:
* 3+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
* Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
* Experience using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Commitment to providing exceptional service to clients
* Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic approach
