Aviation Operations Assistant
The Moree Plains Shire Council is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Aviation Operations Assistant to join our team at the Moree Regional Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting daily safety inspections of runways, taxiways, and movement areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct daily safety inspections of runways, taxiways, and movement areas
* Maintain compliance with CASA standards and ensure aerodrome certification requirements are met
* Operate light plant and equipment to maintain grounds and airside areas
* Record and report on safety inspections, wildlife hazards, and maintenance activities
* Undertake wildlife control in line with the Bird and Wildlife Hazard Management Plan
* Support aerodrome maintenance projects as required
