The position
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Estimator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long‐term career within the engineering and manufacturing industry. Working closely with experienced estimators and internal teams, you will gain hands‐on experience in estimating, customer support, and project administration.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist estimators with the preparation of quotations and tender submissions
* Reply to expedite notices and assist with customer follow‐up enquiries
* Download and distribute purchase orders from customer portals
* Maintain and update estimating and project documentation
* Liaise with internal departments including engineering, procurement, and production
* Provide general administrative support to the estimating team
* Learn and develop knowledge of conveyor systems and materials handling equipment
About You
* Minimum Year 12 education
* Mechanically minded with a willingness to learn
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Good attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
* Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems
* Motivated, reliable, and eager to develop a career within the industry
Candidates with a Trade background who are interested in an opportunity in Mechanical Estimating are also encouraged to apply.
