As a Business Development Manager based in Morningside, QLD, you will report to the Sales Manager and be responsible for new key account business within the new Residential space. You will manage relationships with main influencers, including builders and professional painters, with the goal to turn leads into sustainable and profitable business.
You will also collaborate with builders across the region to create and share best practices to align with business strategy and help grow the ANZ business.
Responsibilities :
Achieve the sales, profit, and growth targets for trade for assigned territory.
Develop and improve the customer service proposition to support the brand strategy.
Implement specification / sales strategies to achieve both long- and short-term goals.
Professional delivery of marketing and promotion activity within the segment maximizing revenue for PPG.
Deliver professional product / system presentations to trade customers.
Supply tender development, presentation, and management.
Provide product / system specifications.
Develop and foster working relationships with key customers.
Manage, maintain, and grow a portfolio of main accounts.
Provide market intelligence / feedback on required new product development and product enhancements.
Perform the role following PPG corporate values.
Requirements :
Successful track record in account management.
Commercial knowledge of the coatings industry.
Understanding of residential building segment and any relationships within the same space would be an additional advantage.
Sound commercial acumen.
High-level planning and negotiation skills.
