Community Partnerships Officer - Healthy Communities
We are seeking a skilled Community Partnerships Officer to join our Building Healthy Communities initiative.
This role involves collaborating with key local partners across Mitchell Shire and the broader catchment to deliver health promotion, partnership, and community engagement outcomes that improve the health and wellbeing of our community.
The ideal candidate will possess project management and evaluation skills, relationship, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to work creatively with energy and compassion both autonomously yet cohesively with multiple team members and stakeholders, excellent time management and administration skills, and content expertise in promoting healthy eating and active living desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement effective partnerships with local stakeholders to enhance community health and wellbeing.
* Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality health promotion initiatives.
* Conduct thorough needs assessments and develop tailored solutions to address community health issues.
* Provide expert advice on health promotion strategies and best practices.
* Analyse data to evaluate the impact of community health initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
* Project management and evaluation skills (preferably in health and/or community service sector)
* Relationship, communication, and interpersonal skills and the ability to operate in a collaborative manner within the organisation and with external partners
* Ability to work creatively with energy and compassion both autonomously yet cohesively with multiple team members and stakeholders
* Excellent time management and administration skills
* Content expertise in promoting healthy eating and active living desirable
