Located in a contemporary office space on the Gold Coast's Mermaid Beach, Marino Law specialises in family law, litigation and dispute resolution, commercial and business law, property and real estate law, corporate law, personal and corporate insolvency and estate and succession planning law.
We are expanding and seeking a part-time or full-time accounts assistant to work alongside our Finance Manager and General Manager.
Key responsibilities:
· Accounts payable, daily office and trust receipting, reconciliations, EFTS, cheques and banking
· Assist finance manager with EOM and EOFY processes and reporting
· Assist with write-offs, debtor control, funds in trust and risk exposure
· Monthly billing
· Liaising with authorities, practitioners and clients alike
· Client communication and liaison with legal and other stakeholders
· Working closely with our paralegals and support team and assist in overflow telephone calls and reception relief

About you
To be successful in this role, you will need—
· Minimum three (3) years' accounts experience working in a law firm
· Ability to liaise and communicate to a high standard with all parties
· Ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines
· Have meticulous attention to detail
· Well-presented and possess an excellent phone manner
· Ability to use initiative and excel under pressure
· Excellent time management and written communication skills
· Typing speed of 70+ wpm with 95 percent accuracy
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Energy, enthusiasm and positive attitude
· Experience in legal trust accounting (essential)
· Experience with LEAP Legal Software (highly desirable)
