FIFO - Electrical Fire Technician (4/3 Roster)

Due to growth, we are seeking the employment of a FIFO Electrical Fire Technician to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to join ARA Fire recognised for its strong customer focus in fire protection, service, and minor works.
Responsibilities
* Working autonomously and within a tight-knit team the FIFO Electrical Fire Technician is supported by administrative and trades persons to work within the Service team providing I&T and D&C duties for one of our key remote client on a 4 days on and 3 days off swing (12 h FIFO Electrical Fire Technician hour days) maintaining Fire Detection, VESDA, Pumps, Sprinkler/Deluge/Special Hazards systems, Hydrants, Hose reels and Portables across their facilities.
* I&T routine compliance testing to AS1851
* D&C / breakdown works
* Close liaison with our client on site personnel
* Managing your own daily schedule
* Scoping of materials for D&C and breakdown tasks
* Completing all on-site paperwork to access locations and perform tasks
* Reporting directly to our Perth based Account Manager
* Work with ARA Fire Sprinkler Fitter to assist, perform 2 person testing etc.
* Completion of task within our Service Maintenance software CLARAFY

Salary and Rosters
* Salary: $160,000 p/a plus super
* Roster: 4/3 (4 days on, 3 days off) (Monday to Thursday, 12-hour days)
* Sites: Facility Based - Kalgoorlie
Requirements
* Electrician Licence or Fire Alarm Trade Certificate
* Current drivers licence inclusive of 4WD certification
* Completion of medical inclusive of drug & alcohol test
* Preference to those that have worked on mine sites previously
* Extinguishing Agent Handling Licence (EAHL)
* The successful applicant requires a high degree of organisational skills, prioritisation of tasks, customer focus, calm, focused, self-motivated, interaction with clients daily and ownership of tasks through to completion.
