We have been taking pleasure seriously for more than 100 years, serving happiness with every lick or scoop of ice cream for generations.We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of The Magnum Ice Cream Company as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen before the end of 2025.We dream big but keep things simple to act fast.If you want to grow with us, make an impact, and shape the future of Ice Cream, this is the place for you!Job SummaryThe role will be responsible for conducting day-to-day laboratory testing of finished goods, semi-finished goods, starting materials, conducting environmental and water testing, and implementing microbiological sampling and monitoring plans.Role Responsibilities :Perform FG and other material release and hold via SAP, maintain hold report, rework management, and perform investigation if required.Monitor all critical and quality control points within the production lines for all products being manufactured.Assist and ensure PQS standards are implemented in the factory.Conduct microbiological sampling according to the microbiology testing schedule and environmental sampling program.Conduct day-to-day laboratory testing of finished goods, semi-finished goods, and materials as required.Facilitate the continuous improvement of quality processes and procedures (Quality Management system).Develop and deliver relevant training of quality and food safety system procedures to key personnel as required.Participate and lead the traceability exercise as required.Monitor the concentration of disinfectants used on site.Conduct and organize the calibration and validation of lab equipment (balance, autoclave, FOSS equipment, etc.
).Investigate consumer complaints by liaising with cross-functional teams and ensure respective action plans are in place.Participate in GMP inspections and Internal Audits.What you will need to succeedExperiences & QualificationsStrong technical Quality Systems and IC Category knowledge is a plus.Strong understanding of business context and prioritization, develops good cross-functional and external relationships.University degree in Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, or Food Processing Degree.Recognized certification in application of HACCP and internal food safety auditing is a plus.Experience in Quality Assurance in Food or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.Technical knowledge of dairy processing or other high-risk food categories.Stakeholder management and project management experience.SkillsCategory Growth Management - capable of collaborating with CSP in the creation and execution of a joint business plan delivering the triple win.Digital commerce – good understanding of the digital commerce landscape and the different approaches required to serve each customer.Commercial strategy – can balance spend in line with company strategy and deliver on customer category growth objectives.Customer relationship – through the JBP, creates a climate with the retailer to deliver long-range shared category objectives.Data literacy – uses data to identify insights that drive business results.Selling – understands the needs of their customers and creates compelling propositions that align with them.Negotiation – has led a team through a complex commercial negotiation, incorporating planning, aligning stakeholders, and maximizing value created.Executional excellence – understands the customer's supply chain expectations and deploys activities in-store partnering with the Grocery Execution Lead.What you can expect :A unique mix of global scale & start-up spirit—€8.3bn powerhouse with an agile, entrepreneurial mindset.
