Job Title: Customer Support Specialist
Description
* Provide prompt, accurate and friendly support to customers across all contact channels, addressing a wide range of enquiries and needs.
* We expect you to apply council policies, procedures and guidelines to resolve customer requests and ensure compliance.
* Process payments and receipts with accuracy, including daily cash balancing and assisting with bank deposits and postal transactions.
* Manage applications and requests for services, ensuring all necessary actions are initiated efficiently.
* Issue products and manage related documentation.
* Register, track and retrieve correspondence using the electronic document management system.
* Perform administrative tasks such as hall bookings, report preparation and data collection, supporting continuous improvement and first-contact resolution.
* Collaborate within the team, assist colleagues, share knowledge and contribute to a flexible, multi-skilled environment.
* You will be required to undertake other duties as directed by your supervisor, within the scope of the position.
Requirements
* Possess qualifications in Business, Business Administration or related field.
* Less formal qualifications combined with relevant experience, or
* Have attained an equivalent level of expertise and experience through previous appointments, service and/or study, enabling you to undertake the range of activities required.
