Job Description:

The Sales Account Manager for ANZ will be responsible for developing GenScript's sales and customer engagement within the NSW and QL region. This includes new business development and executing strategic business plans, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires a dynamic & proactive person with a deep understanding of the life sciences industry, strong commercial acumen and wide network in the ANZ industries.

Location: Australia - remote, Sydney area preferred

Job Responsibilities
* Develop and implement the commercial sales strategy for the assigned territory, aligned with regional Head of ANZ.
* Identify and create new market opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape to drive business growth.
* Evaluate market conditions regularly and remain flexible and agile in responding to changes.
* Drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new customers (new business development) and expansion of existing accounts.
* Lead the development of commercial proposals, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
* Implement customer retention strategies to build long-term relationships.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
* Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products and services.
* Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with commercial activities.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
* M.Sc degree in Life Sciences, or 5 years training in biology/bioengineering.
* Experience in a commercial role within the life sciences industry, with a proven track record of success in the ANZ regions is preferred.
* Thorough understanding of life science industry.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth and profitability.
* Ability to work in the international and multicultural environment. Frequent overseas business trip will be part of this position.
* Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
