Job Description
Reporting to the Payroll Manager your responsibilities will include:
* Manage end‐to‐end fortnightly payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
* Maintain payroll systems, reporting, audits, and all statutory obligations including PAYG, super, STP, and EOFY.
* Provide expert payroll advice, handle complex calculations, and respond to employee queries.
* Drive process improvements and support system or legislative changes impacting payroll.
* Support and guide junior payroll staff through coaching and knowledge sharing.
* Partner closely with HR, Finance, and external providers, maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.

The successful candidate will have:

* Minimum 5 years of payroll experience
* Strong knowledge of Aus Legislation & Compliance
* Aged care industry experience a bonus!
* Tech savvy and ability to pick up payroll systems quickly
* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
* Honesty, integrity and discretion.
