About Redgold
We are an expanding family run 3rd generation vegetable farm. Situated in Wemen near Robinvale, Victoria.
We have a base team of about 12 staff and add 30-40 backpackers in season, all staff are directly employed by Redgold.
Our crops are all grown to a supply program with most of Australia's leading salad packing factories.
Position
We need a steady thinker to assist with precise application of chemical sprays across our farm.
There are typically many small batches which require careful attention to instruction detail, to be sure to minimize the risks of crop contamination and sensitivities.
You will operate Modern self propelled machines using rate controllers, GPS and instruction systems.
We have a safe and efficient batching system which we expect to be fully utilised to keep everybody safe.
Our rowcrop tractor operations include bed forming, seeding, fertilising and harvesting.
Skillset
Ideally you will be a team player, honest and confess to errors in a helpful environment.
Have a chemical user certificate.
Have experience with farming equipment.
Have basic maintenance skills.
Always target getting the job done right, first time, every time.
Be open to learning our way, as well as sharing your outside experience that may further improve our systems.
