Platinum Pacific Partners is exclusively partnering with a Sydney-based boutique specialist investment manager, providing a range of innovative investment strategies across Australian and global equities and private assets. This newly created appointment will support the Distribution team, assisting across client services, product initiatives, marketing, and stakeholder management for a diverse client base including institutional, wholesale, retail, and direct investors. You will be directly responsible for:
- Managing investor relations and vendor partnerships, including fund administrators, registry providers, and other key stakeholders.
- Preparing and delivering monthly fund reports, newsletters, and other client communications.
- Supporting marketing initiatives, including presentations, product collateral, and website content.
- Responding to client and consultant data requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conducting competitor analysis to inform strategy and positioning.
- Providing stakeholder support across fund managers, institutional and retail business teams, operations, and corporate functions, including liaising closely with the investment team and Portfolio Managers.
To succeed with your application, you will have:
- Degree qualifications in finance, commerce, economics, accounting, or a related discipline, with strong academic performance.
- RG146 qualification (or equivalent) is highly regarded, or a willingness to obtain it.
- 18 months to 3 + years’ experience in funds management or a related industry, with a strong understanding of market participants (financial advisers, brokers, platforms, etc.). This experience may be gained through client service or operational roles.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and professional presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfort with digital platforms).
- Strong attention to detail, resilience, and the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
- A client-centric approach, highly self-motivated, with the ability to operate proactively with minimal supervision.
- A genuine passion for investment product, marketing, and client services in the funds management industry and a desire to grow and develop in the role over the next 2–3 years.
