Job Purpose
Due to ongoing growth, Trivesta Capital is seeking a motivated and passionate Business Development Manager to join our Australian sales team.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding our investor base, developing relationships with retail and institutional clients, and working closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to drive business growth and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Develop and execute strategies to grow retail, sophisticated, and wholesale investor trading volumes across Trivesta funds.
Identify, engage, and convert new clients and prospects, leveraging referrals, networking, and industry contacts.
Represent Trivesta at client seminars, workshops, and industry events. Prepare and present materials in collaboration with Marketing and Product teams.
Collaborate with the sales team to enhance client acquisition, retention, and engagement.
Sales Process, Planning, and Execution
Utilize structured sales processes to increase conversion, shorten sales cycles, and maximize deal closure rates.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM with integrity.
Set personal goals and KPIs, track progress, and ensure accountability.
Prioritise and schedule work to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Client Relationship Management
Facilitate the onboarding of new clients, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
Provide ongoing support to existing clients with fund management, reporting, and account services.
Handle inbound inquiries and provide guidance in a timely and professional manner.
Encourage and manage client referrals to support business growth.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in B2C/B2B sales or business development within financial services, preferably in funds, managed investments, or wealth management.
Strong passion for sales and delivering exceptional client service.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to understand and explain complex financial products quickly.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to proactively source new business opportunities.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and teamwork.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems.
