About the Role
As a Community Engagement Advisor, you will have a positive impact in your local community and the organisation by aligning activities to the branch business plan and building a pipeline of new prospects and opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Immersing yourself within the local community, networking and collaborating with the board and branch management team to seek out, nurture, and organise community relationships, partnerships and events.
* Telling our stories through various channels to spread the word and celebrate our community work.
* Managing social media and local marketing activation, creating and posting content and driving engagement across platforms.
* Lifelong learning – benefiting from on‐the‐job training and other learning opportunities.
* Building connections to support customers, give back, and make our communities a better place.
Qualifications
* Understanding and established connection with the local community.
* Strong customer service and customer experience ethos.
* Ability to drive and maintain effective working relationships and networks.
* Effective communication skills to share our Community Bank story.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Experience in marketing and managing social media pages.
* Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
* Project or event management experience (desirable).
* Confidence with technology and experience in digital platforms and creative/editing tools.
Work Schedule
This is a permanent, part‐time position located in Mooroolbark. The roster is 45 hours per fortnight, 3 days per week: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 08:45 am to 05:15 pm. Late nights and weekend hours are required outside of these hours to attend community events.
