Digital Pre Press Operator - Graphic Designer Signage
DI Sign Group seeks an upbeat, creative Pre Press/Designer to join our supportive and innovative team at our modern factory in Mordialloc.

This is a unique position and will be a great step for an individual who is looking for their next challenge in the pre press and design side of the signage industry.
In this dynamic and integral role you will be focusing on:
Designing & Developing signage from conceptual beginnings
Liaising with customers and internal team to develop projects
Pre Press operation HP Latex and outsource large format works with Adobe Creative Suite and Onyx software
About You:
Proven experience in a digital pre-press environment, ideally with large format printing
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Onyx software
Strong understanding of print and design languages, colour management, and file preparation
Experience setting up prints for HP Latex and Outsourced Large Format Print (highly regarded)
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work collaboratively and meet production deadlines
Producing CAD files for CNC/Laser cutting and machining
LED layouts using custom software
Proofing of shop drawings and layouts with clients
Day to day works in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Onyx among others
Helping internal team operate HP Latex Digital Print, Laser cutting and CNC routers cutters and Letter Bender.
Past CNC operation skills an advantage
You will bring a combination of the following skills and experience:
Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a working visa
Experience in the design of products from concept to manufacture of 2 years or more
A high level of experience in Adobe Suite, Onyx and Pre Press Software
Able to read and interpret drawings
Understanding of different textiles and materials
Can think outside the box and troubleshoot solutions while being innovative
An eye for attention to detail and quality aspects
Willing to learn and grow with the Operations team
Most of all must have pride in being the best at what you do
