Headquartered on the Sunshine Coast, we operate from bases across Australia, the USA, and Europe. Our services include Aerial Fire Fighting, Charter, Emergency Assistance, and Helicopter Lifting services, in dynamic and fast-paced environments worldwide.
Due to recent expansion, we are seeking a full-time Composite Structures Engineer to maintain and develop our rotary fleet at our Alabama base. This role requires exceptional technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, with potential travel on short notice to support our fire, emergency, and weather-related operations.
Purpose
The Aircraft Component Technician will be responsible for overhaul, repair, modification, inspection, testing, and certification of aviation components across pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, electrical, environmental, and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
1. Tear down and clean components, prepare inspection reports, measure parts, conduct tests, and determine replacements.
2. Reassemble components following maintenance manuals and conduct inspections, tests, and functional checks.
3. Perform reassembly tasks such as painting, resurfacing, soldering, wiring, repairs, adjustments, and assembly operations.
4. Verify paperwork and ensure traceability of parts used in assembly.
5. Record data related to measurements, testing, and inspections accurately.
6. Participate in or lead the development of repair techniques to improve productivity.
