A national supplier to the heavy vehicle and transport industry is expanding its Western Australian operations and seeking a driven Business Development Manager to grow its footprint across the state.
The business provides a full suite of truck exhaust and emissions system components—including DPFs, DOCs, SCR units, clamps, sensors and associated hardware—together with professional exhaust cleaning, testing and refurbishment services used by transport fleets, diesel workshops, OEM dealers, parts resellers and heavy-vehicle service networks across Australia and New Zealand.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, solving customer problems, and building long-term relationships in a high-demand sector.
The Opportunity
A newly created position focused on driving growth throughout WA.
You'll work directly with fleet operators and workshops, promote a market-leading emissions product range, and take ownership of building a high-performing territory.
Key duties include:
Drive business development and territory growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding existing accounts and executing a structured sales plan across fleets, workshops, resellers and distributors.
Engage customers onsite, building strong relationships with mechanics, workshop managers and fleet maintenance teams while delivering product demonstrations, technical support and tailored emissions solutions.
Prepare quotes, pricing and proposals, maintain accurate CRM activity, and report regularly on sales performance and competitor insights.
Work closely with operations and warehouse teams to ensure smooth supply, fast service turnaround and high customer satisfaction.
Stay across market trends, monitor competitor activity and represent the business at trade shows and customer demonstrations when required.
The Candidate
Experience in B2B sales within automotive parts, trucking, diesel, transport or heavy-vehicle components, selling into fleets, workshops, resellers or OEM dealers.
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand exhaust and emissions components (DPF, DOC, SCR) and clearly communicate value to customers.
Confident, relationship-focused communicator with the ability to engage credibly with workshop teams and fleet maintenance leaders.
Self-driven, organised and capable of managing a field-based schedule with autonomy and accountability.
Commercially minded, proactive in identifying opportunities and achieving activity-based KPIs.
Full driver's licence and willingness to travel 1–2 overnight trips per month.
