The work supported a consolidated national strategy, ensuring alignment of policy, operational delivery, and stakeholder interests across all levels of government.
Your new role
This is a specialised position where you will complete tasks inclusive to, but not limited to the following;
* Contribute to the delivery of the Agency's enterprise strategies and performance framework, including key documents such as the Portfolio Budget Statement, Corporate Plan, and Annual Report.
* Assist business divisions in developing operational plans and performance metrics
* Analyse policy and performance data to produce accurate, insightful reports and recommendations for senior leaders and stakeholders.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate contributions to policy development, planning, and reporting activities.
* Ensure all activities comply with relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements, including the PGPA Act.
* Support policy development and contribute to the ongoing improvement of performance and reporting processes
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you must have demonstrated experience in the following;
* Demonstrated strength in analytical and conceptual thinking, with the ability to analyse and interoperate complex information into clear, actionable policy recommendations.
* In-depth knowledge of public sector performance reporting standards and frameworks.
* Exceptional attention to detail, consistently delivering high-quality and accurate outcomes.
* Advanced skills in analysis, problem-solving, and organisation, supporting effective decision-making.
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for adapting messaging to suit varied audiences.
* Proven capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within fast-paced, evolving environments.
* Reliable judgement and discretion in managing confidential and sensitive information.
This position is only open to Australian Citizens and you must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2)
What you'll get in return
This role is offered as an initial 6 - 12 month labour hire contract with the view to long term extension.
You will work with a nationally dispersed team and have the opportunity to work directly with community stakeholders.
