We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Asset Management and Project Services team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality electrical engineering services across capital works, new developments, and the maintenance of existing facilities.
You will play a key role in managing projects from concept through to completion, ensuring assets are reliable, efficient, and aligned with operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineer, you will:
* Lead and coordinate electrical engineering projects across the full lifecycle—from concept development through to implementation and handover
* Provide technical advice and project management support for capital and maintenance works
* Conduct feasibility studies, detailed designs, and pre-feasibility assessments
* Oversee contractor performance, contract administration, and commissioning activities
* Support operational teams by troubleshooting plant and equipment issues
* Ensure compliance with electrical standards, legislation, and industry best practice
* Evaluate tenders and provide recommendations based on quality, cost, safety, and performance
* Contribute to business planning and continuous improvement initiatives
* Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) systems
About You
You are a technically capable and proactive engineer with strong project delivery experience in an industrial environment. You bring:
* Proven experience in electrical engineering, including distribution systems, PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation
* Demonstrated project and contract management experience
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Experience in cost monitoring, reporting, and budget management
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
* A commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Qualifications & Requirements
* Degree in Electrical Engineering
* RPEQ or CPEng (or willingness to obtain)
* Current C Class Driver's Licence
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
