Your Role
* You'll work on engineering assessments, consultations, and commenting on development, thoroughfare, and permit applications.
* You'll prepare and submit grant applications, reports, and acquittals.
About the Position
* This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise in land development engineering standards, policies, processes, and statutory requirements.
* The successful candidate will be expected to update and report on the City's Road Safety Management System as required.
* You will assess development and permit applications within agreed timeframes.
* A key aspect of this role is responding to enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly.
Requirements
* A qualification in Civil Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia) with extensive experience.
* Strong verbal/written communication, negotiation, public relations, and interpersonal skills are essential.
* In-depth knowledge of land development engineering standards, policies, processes, and statutory requirements is necessary.
