SSP Australia are seeking a Chef to join our team at Canberra Airport on a full-time basis.
You will be supported by a great leadership team and work collaboratively with a professional Head Chef and highly experienced Culinary team. As an ideal candidate, you will be an experienced and professional team player with a can-do attitude and a commitment towards achieving outstanding results.
Key Requirements
The following skills and experience are essential for this role:
* At least 3 years' experience as a Chef working in a similar role
* Certificate IV or higher in Commercial Cookery
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
* Someone that is passionate about training and upskilling kitchen staff
* Knowledge in WHS Compliance and strong understanding of food safety and practices
* A high standard of food preparation, presentation and service
* A passion for food and an eagerness to learn and develop culinary skills
* Excellent time management skills, strong communication skills and collaborative work mentality
* A lively personality and positive attitude
