Overview
In this role, you\'ll join a small team in the development and delivery of new bridge construction and bridge maintenance projects across the region. You will bring a strong understanding of civil, bridge, concrete and steel engineering principals, particularly around maintenance, to achieve delivery outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage bridge project deliverables to ensure projects meet time, cost and scope objectives.
- Lead the investigation and design process through effective project briefs, cost estimates, stakeholder engagement, and scheduling.
- Work effectively as a team player in a small team to ensure all team objectives are met.
- Implement and follow a high standard of quality and systems to adhere to TfNSW standards, procedures and protocols including workplace health & safety and environmental management.

This is a fixed-term position ending June 30, 2026 based in South Grafton, NSW
About you
Your engineering career should be committed to bridge or civil maintenance and construction, with the ability to thrive in a small team environment and an hands-on, all-Hands-on-Deck approach.
- Experience managing construction and maintenance projects (bridges experience highly regarded).
- A four-year engineering (Civil or related) degree from an Australian University or equivalent overseas qualifications.
- Technical knowledge of materials, equipment and techniques used in a bridge and infrastructure environment.
- Knowledge of tender and contract processes and requirements.
