Warmoll Farming Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and capable Electronics Instrument Trades Worker for our Breeza operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, adjusting, and repairing electronic systems and equipment used across our agricultural fleet, including trucks, light vehicles, tractors, earthmoving machinery, and mobile plant. This may also include servicing audio, video, and related electronic components integrated within machinery.
You will be required to work overtime hours and weekends in this role and you will be paid additional remuneration for any extra hours worked.
Key Responsibilities
* Repair and maintain electronic control systems on a wide range of agricultural equipment trucks, lights vehicles, and plant, including attend out of hours break downs and retrievals when required.
* Installation, removal, modification, maintenance, and repairs of farm electrical control systems.
* Commission and maintain automated control systems using electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
* Operate agricultural equipment, trucks, light vehicles, and plant as required to facilitate repairs and maintenance of same.
* Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records.
* Advise operators on correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.
* Interpret manuals and software to identify spare parts and liaise with managers and supervisors in regards parts and materials ordering.
* Access on-board self-diagnosis systems to diagnose faults.
Skills and Qualifications Applicable to the Role
* AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3).
* At least three years of relevant industry experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across electronic and control systems.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and wiring diagrams.
* Ability to maintain accurate repair and maintenance documentation.
* Sound communication skills when liaising with managers and external suppliers.
* Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment and comply with Work Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Australian Driver’s Licence (preferred).
Preferred Work Experience:
A minimum of three years of relevant industry experience is preferred for nominees applying for this position.
