Biomedical Field Service Technician
Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a field service position that involves repairs, performance qualification,
compliance testing, and preventative maintenance of dental sterilizers (autoclaves) and
various specialised medical equipment.
A solid technical/service background in any electronic/electromechanical field,
including whitegoods, appliances, computer hardware, AV equipment, etc., will be
considered. We provide on-the-job training as well as external manufacturer training as
required.
You will be responsible for attending emergency equipment breakdowns, performing
scheduled preventative maintenance, and conducting safety and performance testing to
ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
Experience and Qualifications:
Applicants should have completed a Certificate III in Electronics
Communications, an Engineering Diploma, or a similar Electrical
Trade/Engineering or Biomedical Engineering qualification.
Experience with maintaining autoclaves or similar devices is an advantage.
A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, or electronic devices, that are
non-medical, will also be considered under our on-the-job technical skills
development program.
Ability to read service manuals and interpret technical information is essential.
A valid NSW driver’s license is required.
A car allowance will be provided in addition to base salary

Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
