Job Description
Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports in line with statutory requirements.
Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all reconciliations are completed.
Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes.
Provide financial insights and support to senior leadership for decision-making purposes.
Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit outcomes.
Supervise and mentor team members within the Accounting & Finance department.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Streamline financial systems and processes for increased efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accounting Manager should have:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA or CA.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and reporting requirements.
Experience in leading and mentoring a team in an accounting function.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
A commitment to working within the not-for-profit industry.
