Contract Administrator - Supply Chain Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team, supporting the Supply Chain team leads in managing administrative tasks and related processes.
About the Role:
This role involves undertaking contract administration activities, assisting in drafting, formatting, and developing non-disclosure agreements, subcontracts, and supplier agreements. You will liaise with internal stakeholders on reviewing, approving, and record-keeping of agreements and contracts, providing input to projects and corporate functions regarding policies, procedures, tools, and templates.
Responsibilities:
* Undertake contract administration activities, ensuring timely completion and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Assist in drafting, formatting, and developing non-disclosure agreements, subcontracts, and supplier agreements, working effectively with other members of the Saab Supply Chain Team and other stakeholders.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders on reviewing, approving, and record-keeping of agreements and contracts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
* Provide input to projects and corporate functions regarding policies, procedures, tools, and templates, ensuring seamless integration and coordination.
* Establish and/or tailor processes, methods, and tools ensuring compliance with specific contract administration activities.
* Work collaboratively with Subcontracts Managers to negotiate subcontractors and suppliers addressing contractual issues, licensing arrangements, and confidentiality agreements.
Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home/office, 9-day week may be considered for this role post-probation and subject to approval by your manager.
About You:
We seek candidates with:
* 3+ Years' experience in a similar role supporting project delivery (ideally in construction and/or defence industry).
* Knowledge and understanding of relevant contract law.
* Good understanding of procurement and subcontract management requirements for large multi-discipline projects and bids.
* A detailed working knowledge of claims processes (Variations, EOT requests, and other) in project environments.
* Experience in managing or administering ASDEFCON-related contracts, with exposure to Security and Export Control requirements.
* Contracts administration and document management skills.
* A working knowledge of Security of Payments legislation.
* High level of interpersonal skills, including liaising effectively and managing relationships with various stakeholders.
* Robust negotiation skills respecting variations and other claims.
* Exemplary organisational skills, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Microsoft Office suite expertise, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Tertiary qualifications in commerce, supply chain, business, or a related field (or studying towards).
As a defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to baseline/NV1/NV2 level or have the ability to gain one.
