Our client is a global supplier of mining and industrial goods, and they're seeking a Procurement Support Officer to play a key role in their Perth operations.
This role combines procurement, logistics coordination, and customer relationship management. You'll work closely with suppliers, vendors, and clients to keep supply chains running smoothly and projects delivered on time.
What you'll be doing
* Act as the main point of contact for customers, building and maintaining strong relationships
* Respond to enquiries and follow up with vendors to keep jobs moving
* Manage multiple projects, ensuring accurate invoices, documentation, and logistics flow
* Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues with practical, timely solutions
* Coordinate domestic & international freight and logistics
* Identify opportunities to enhance sales and support business growth
* Ensure compliance with company processes and workplace safety standards
* Leverage an established client base – no cold calling required
What you'll need:
* 3+ years' experience in customer service, project management, procurement, or a similar role
* Knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain (desirable)
* Strong communication, negotiation, and IT skills (MS Office essential; SAP/Ariba/Coupa advantageous)
* Ability to multitask, prioritise, and problem-solve under pressure
* A proactive, motivated, and reliable approach to work
* Relevant qualifications in Business (preferred, not essential)
* Team player who can also work independently when needed
