Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Diesel Mechanic & Maintenance Assistant/Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about mechanics, maintenance, and driving, with a focus on maintaining our fleet's operational readiness and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist our Maintenance Manager with troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of trucks, vans, vehicles, forklifts, and various equipment.
* Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on trucks, vehicles, and equipment.
* Drive trucks as required to transport goods safely and efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and service performed.
* Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards.
* Support the team in various tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
* Minimum HR license, with HC or MC preferred.
* Clean driving record.
* Basic knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems.
* Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
