The position comes with a generous salary of $88,863 to $96,615 pro rata p.a.
plus superannuation.As our Risk & Assurance Advisor, you will play a key role in strengthening Wannon Water's risk management and assurance practices.
You will collaborate across teams to keep our systems practical and effective, empower colleagues to confidently manage risk, and lead projects to improve our Intergrated Management System (IMS), ensuring alignment with key standards.
Job Description What you'll be doingOn a day-to-day basis, you'll be:Supporting the assessment and management of risks, including follow-up from incidents, audits, emergencies, planned changes or new legislation.Coordinating the review and continuous improvement of the Risk Management Framework across both strategic and operational areas.Designing and delivering practical risk management education and coaching to risk owners and other stakeholders involved in risk management activities.Preparingrisk-related reports, briefings and recommendations for senior leaders, the Executive Team and Board.
Desired Skills and Experience What you'll bringYou're a confident communicator, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to engage different teams and motivate consistent risk management practices.Qualifications in Risk Management, Quality, Safety or related fields are desirable but not essential where equivalent skills and experience can be demonstrated.Experience in OH&S, Environmental, or Water Quality Management Systems is advantageous.Proven ability to develop business processes, procedures, and reporting systems.Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software tools quickly.For further details, see the position description available here .We look forward to hearing from you.
