The Opportunity
We are recruiting for the position of Logistics Technical Assessor, supporting the Super Hornet and Growler programs located at RAAF base Amberley QLD. You will be joining a small but tightly knit team of technical professionals in offering support to the customer (commonwealth) and internal stakeholders.
**Responsibilities**:
- Action unscheduled construction, updates and maintenance of Australian Defence Aviation Authorised Spares System (ADAASS).
- Action routine Technical Substitution and undertake amendments as required.
- Action identification and logistics requirements for Special Technical Instructions/Modifications (STIs / MODs) and Deviations.
- Provide interrogations and interpretations of engineering technical drawings and specifications
Experience/Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with a minimum two years as a Technical Assessor OR an Aircraft Trade background with significant experience, deemed suitable for technical assessor training
- An excellent communicator who can transfer knowledge and influence outcomes
- A pragmatic approach to problem solving, who can leverage their knowledge and experience to provide the right outcomes for the program
- Experience within a Systems Program Office (SPO) environment (Desirable)
- Aircraft maintenance engineering experience / qualifications (Desirable)
- Experience working within a matrix based organisation (Desirable)
