The role:
We are seeking a Work Health and Safety (WHS) Business Partner, responsible for providing professional Health and Safety across the organisation including implementation of strategic plans and programs, overseeing injury coordination and return to work including; Workcover, TAC, personal injury support and independent injury assessment (IME). This role works closely with both internal and external stakeholders, including insurance agencies and WorkCover, and is responsible for chairing the OHS Committee.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* A Diploma of Health and Safety and/or significant work experience in a lead health and safety position.
* Strong WorkCover, Personal Injury and Worker TAC management knowledge.
* Previous experience with injury and/or WorkCover and injury coordination.
* Ability build rapport, trust, and engaging relationships at all levels.
* Strong analytical and report writing skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to research and investigate best practice, legislation, WorkSafe regulations and translate this to work health and safety.
* Effective injury management reporting.
* Excellent computer skills, including Office365.
