Total Harvesting Pty Ltd is a leading, family-owned and locally operated WA forestry contractor, operating across Albany, Bunbury, Yornup and Esperance. We specialise in logging, chipping and haulage of Bluegum and Pine products and are known for our strong safety culture and long‐term stability.
We are seeking experienced Heavy Vehicle Truck Drivers for full‐time, permanent roles based in Yornup, Bunbury and Albany.
About the Role
The successful applicants will be responsible for operating heavy combination vehicles transporting forestry products and materials across regional WA operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate heavy vehicles including MC combinations (B‐Doubles & Road Trains), prime movers, log trailers, side tippers, flat top trailers and other articulated vehicle combinations as required.
* Supervise safe loading infield, apply load restraint, and delivery.
* Conduct daily vehicle inspections and minor maintenance.
* Complete basic paperwork, dockets and timesheets.
* Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues.
* Comply with fatigue management, traffic laws and haulage plans.
* Work collaboratively with supervisors and operations personnel.
Skills and Experience
* Current MC Driver's License (unrestricted preferred) and/or other appropriate heavy vehicle drivers' licence.
* MC experience required.
* WA Fatigue Management Certificate (or willing to obtain).
* Current driver medical (or willing to obtain).
* Commitment to a strong safety culture.
* Ability to work independently and follow operational instructions.
* Forestry, heavy haulage or regional transport experience desirable.
* Log and chip carting experience highly regarded but not essential.
Employment Conditions
Equivalent annual salary package of $79,500 - $90,000 plus superannuation. Employees are paid on an hourly rate basis. Ordinary full‐time hours are based on 7.6 ordinary hours per day and 38 ordinary hours per week, with additional earnings subject to operational requirements.
